And either way, it really doesn’t work. Not in the grand scheme of things, anyway.. https://youtu.be/t-yuVfP20OUThe simulation of day to day newspaper work is a difficult theme to use when trying to hook players on the narrative. In this case, the theme works but the mechanics suffer greatly due to the delayed reaction for feedback. It's never exactly clear what actions are leading to witch consequences, making each day more guess work than meaningful choices.. The idea is good and the game well made but the "fun factor" is missing. And it's pretty easy to win this.. Westporrt Independent is a great game. It features great replayability. Each time you play, you can change the focus of your newspaper to get a differnt ending.. Well 10€ would be too much but for 2€ this game is okay. At least there is some replay value. I played it two times.Only problem is that it feels like you can't really fail in this game.. So much potential wasted - only if censored articles would make sense whatever their combination... but alas, that's not the case.If you can live with that, it could be one of the most awesome games around. The pressure from all sides, tangible and presumed, truly bends you and your mindset. Could have been a most frightening experience.. Well 10€ would be too much but for 2€ this game is okay. At least there is some replay value. I played it two times.Only problem is that it feels like you can't really fail in this game.
